The Christmas party is over, the gifts have been given and we have been blessed! No matter how many times we have this party it never ceases to amaze me that WE are the ones blessed by it. Praise God.

Christmas Smiles
It’s just about time for Christmas! We are preparing for the annual Shining Light Christmas party to be held on Saturday, December 22. Our goal this year is to provide Christmas gifts, a hot meal, the Word of God and a good time to 115 children. To accomplish this we have several ways you can help!
Send an unwrapped gift for a child. This will be added to other gifts to be included in a single package for each child.
Donate food or grocery store gift certificates to provide a hot meal.
Check out our ebay auction and purchase a Christmas Smile. Do a user search on ebay for customizedkeepsake*com, this is the only eBay ID associated with Shining Light at this point.
Make a donation on the web site to help with building projects and activities.
During this Christmas season it important to remember just how blessed each and every one of us truly is. God has given much to all of us so that we may be blessed in giving to others. As we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus, what better way to honor Him than to give with our hearts to those in need?

We need finances for the day to day operations of this ministry. 2. we also need finances to help pay for the remodeling work we have already done ($40,000.00), 3. We need help with phases 2-4 to complete the remodeling of the 12,000 sq ft building.

We are in need of these things and many more. We ask that you pray about this and ask God what He would have you do. We know that you or your group may not be able to do all that is asked in a particular area but we would appreciate your doing what you can. We have a tremendous opportunity to work with children and youth. Our heart's desire is to minister to the needs of the community, reaching them where they are, giving them a safe area, and sharing Jesus with them. Thank you for sharing.

SUPER SATURDAY
Super Saturday was a tremendous success. We were blessed with a beautiful day. There were between 600 and 700 people in attendance. Super Saturday was a combination of more than 12 Churches and many volunteers. RCCM from Southeast Missouri University was a major contributor with three of their groups sharing in song, dance, and step. They were awesome. Several other praise bands, and individuals shared their talents as well as two magnificent messages. Lynwood Baptist sent over fourty people to share in this wonderful day. We want to thank all who shared to help make this event a wonderful success. And last but certainly not least a great Big Thank you God.
FALL FUN DAY
September 29, 2007 from 1:00pm to 5:00 pm we will be having a fall fun day. All kinds of fun outdoor activities, sports, and games. It will end with a hotdog cookout. This event is being sponsored by Ridgecrest Baptist Church, St Charles, MO.
REVIVAL
Shining Light Baptist Outreach will be in Revival September 15, 16, 17, 2007. Dr. Ken Ellis NAMB Director for Black Evangelism in North America will be the evangelist. Services are at 7:00 pm each evening.

Featuring THE CHURCH BOYS, ANOINTED PRAISE DANCERS, GOD'S WARRIORS STEP TEAM, RCCM PRAISE AND WORSHIP TEAM, PLUS MUCH MORE. Anointed preaching and great for all ages.
Also Jason Lindsey from KFVS12 will be there doing science experiments witht he kids throughout the day.
